About Dr. Angelica

Dr. Angelica McCarthy, DAT, LAT, ATC (she/her) is a licensed/certified athletic trainer who received her Clinical Doctorate in Athletic Training (DAT) from Temple University. Her purpose is to help guide individuals in awareness and understanding of their bodies, through a holistic-based approach, to support their health, well-being, movement, and life balance. Her philosophy is to treat the whole person - mind, body, and soul to get to the root of the problem and focus on the solution that is unique to each person.
As part of her mission to bring light to whole person wellness and body awareness, Dr. Angelica founded McCarthy Athletic Training & Wellness to provide access to holistic health care and inspire conscious awareness of whole person wellness through education, proactive prevention and recovery. In addition to health, she is also Co-Creator of Sustainability for the Arts to empower personal and professional growth for the arts community to step up to their fullest potential, and is Co-Founder | CEO of Angelface Records, uniting the power of music and wellness.
Dr. Angelica is also a part of the U.S. Tennis Association Athletic Medicine Team on the Women’s Professional Circuit, Health Care Coordinator for Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, contributor for Motivated Movers, and is partnered with Fusionetics, Hyperice, and Juice Plus+® as an advocate to inspire and encourage healthy living through movement efficiency and nutrition.
Dr. Angelica resides in Miami FL with her husband Joe, where she loves to ground herself at the beach, be creative, curious, and committed to learning to live her life to its fullest potential!
